and they're making me so envious. I really want to go to their concert, ever since I was 14 yrs old, I've been wanting to go, But this year especially. I can afford the concert ticket. I just need the plane ticket =O

Rescue and Old People

I can't stop listening to Rescue ~ I love it, yes I love it extremely~~~ The chorus is in English and it sounds good! not like Engrish lol "running up, i'm a running" 8D
I want more than a minute and a half of Rescue, I want the whole thing now now =x

I should watch Kami no Shizuku... yeah..I told myself that I would over the weekend but I'm didn't watch it yet XD

Today, I had to do community service at a nursing home and it was... really depressing.
Most of the old people were... not in their mind.
They want to go home..
Most of them were talking about going home.
My friend told me that a couple of old guys were planning an escape
guy #1: I want to go home
#2: I can drive you home
#2: Let me get my car, it's in the garage.

There was this one lady who constantly repeats the same lines.
It's either "I'm blind" (she's not), "I can't see" , " I want to go home" "I need to go home and help my mom" (she's like 80 yrs old, her mom wouldn't be still living)

It's really hard talking to them because most of them don't understand what we were saying and they ... can't comprehend complex sentences.

because being in that place means there's nothing more to do in your life,

I got really sad.

I don't want to be like that in the future

I don't ever want to send my parents to a nursing home or retirement house. You just sleep, eat, watch a movie, play a game, talk to people who don't have the capability to respond back, maybe read a book if you can still see well enough, and maybe have someone accompany you for a stroll outside, and that's it. They even have a seat beeper that beeps when someone gets out of their chair. I thought that was very extreme, even though it's neccessary for them to stay safe.

I realized something, I can't pronounce th- words correctly, such as thought, think, threw, thigh, etc.
I pronouced them like dought, dink, drew, digh, etc.
And my 8 yr cousin spent a while teaching me,
I don't know why I can't pronouce it, it's so strange =o
so we had drilling lessons loll
with sentences such as
"She was thankful of her thunderous thighs."
"Thank you for your thoughtfulness"
"The thimble was in her thunderous thighs."
very very hard, even my grandma who don't know a lick of english can pronounce it right

It's in May.. I hope they have another summer concert, I have tests to take in May. I really want to go to a Kat-tun concert. It's one of my life goals.

Ueda.. you and your natto and how it saves the world. I tried natto once.. and it tastes.. bad.. but maybe there's different types of natto? Like different brands that taste better.. lol

my favorite part is when Jin rejected him and he was like "then I'll go to kamenashi" and then Jin said something that I didn't understand. xD

Although I'm glad that Kat-tun are having a lot of individual work, I really want to see them do a group project again, well aside from concerts and singles, I want to see the 6 of time in a movie.. like Arashi.

Kame is seriously too adorable for words, he has a pimple! omg but the way he goes telling all his fans is so ..hilarious and he's like scolding his pimple for popping up so randomly? Yes I likes to talk to my pimple and scold it too =D

Jin wrote more than 2 lines in his blog, I am so surpriseeee hahaha and he said he went to go drinking with his friends and Kame likes drinking and Jin went drinking and my mind just link that together... that's predictable from an akame fangirl.

I'm so excited for Ueda's butai, I want to goooo , Japanese fangirls are so..lucky compared to overseas fangirls. They could actually understand what they're saying instead of learning a new language or scouting around for translations.

Nakamaru is buff yo, his body, nice muscles, yeahh.

I want Koki to change his hair, sorry but he looks like a Mexican pedophile. (no offense to Koki fans, I lurve him very much indeed)

And.. I'm not so sure what's going on with Junno, but I sure do love his practical short black hair-do =D.

Today was Obama's inauguration and everyone went nuts.. haha we watched the news in class. and he messed up! hahaha it's so funny, I'm hoping for a better future but at the same time, I know that it will take time, a lot of time and people will start bashing him if he doesn't carry out his end of the promise. That's the way things go. What I do love about Obama is the fact that he emphasizes hope and faith. He mentioned them in almost all of his speeches and telling people that hard work is necessary to achieve their dreams. I really like that because too many people are anticipating the end product but are unwilling to do what it takes to get there.

I'm reading The Last Lecture by Randy Paush, It's a good book with wonderful tips and stories to share.

Also today, my mom's car collided with this other car. we were both ok. but i embarrassed myself by saying "what an unfortunate encounterment" and encounterment isn't even a word.

Today, Ngan, Carolyn, and I went to Neshaminy Mall to watch a movie, The Curious Tale of Benjamin Button. Oh my goodness, it is an amazing movie. When I first heard about this movie from a classmate, I thought it was completely and utterly strange, a man who was borned old but aged young? I didn't really understand what that means. I thought that it wouldn't be such a great movie.
So when I went to the theatres today, I didn't really had high hopes for the movie.

But once a kind movie watcher move his/her seat (hey the theatre was dark! I couldn't tell if it's a he or she xD) to let me and my friends sit together since it was crowded and I get comfortable in my seat, I realized that I would be watching a life- altering movie.
OK maybe that's a little too extreme, life- altering, but that movie made me cried and think and just relished in the moment, not a lot of movie have done that before.

SPOILERS AHEAD!

It was just sooo sad and I'm still thinking about the movie hours later while I'm sitting on my computer chair typing this up. The saddest part has to be when he left her, because he was like "ohh i'm getting younger and you can't take care of two kids at the same time" and how he slowly turns into a baby. He forgot about Daisy and forgets how to speak and walk. His death is so sad , he died in her arms as a baby,

Then I realized that just short life is.. loll I mean yeh it's not short if you look at it when you're 17 or 20 or 30, but every moment is really precious and you never know how much time you have left.
I got to thinking about my life and I'm wondering, why am I stressing so much about school and life and everything, I put a whole lot of pressure on myself and it's completely unecessary!

Awww Kame and JIn wanted to act in One Piece! (ok well koki suggested that jin should act as zoro but kame said that "then I want to be Sanji" I wanna see that! and Ueda in a boxing drama =D
and Kame brought his Tickle Me Elmo to set! like seriously, I wanted to buy that when it came out because it freaked me out majorly .
and I can't wait for Rescue, it looks sooo intense, ... I think I might like it better than kami no shizuku xD

I failed to say this earlier but Happy 2009~!

I hope 2009 will be a great year. I really think it will. I can just sense it!
There is just soooo much that's going to happen this year.
I will get my college acceptance and rejection letters, turn 18 in July, get my driver's license, be living in a dorm starting fall (away from home.. that idea is so daunting), graduate high school, and whole load of other things that I can't possibly predict.

My history with livejournal and gheiness that is the Japanese boybands:

I have had a livejournal when I was 15, have been a Kat-tun fangirl when I was 14. I still remember that time, it was around late 2005, around November I think. I just watched Nobuta wo Produce because I was searching for dramas to watch. The funny thing is I was on the korean bandwagon (I just finished watching Full House at that time), I was searching for korean dramas to watch XD. I was on d-addicts and looking at the popular dramas at that time. I was reading the synopsis of the dramas and googling up the actors and actresses. I looked through the Korean drama list and there was really nothing that catches my eyes. No offense to korean drama lovers, I think a lot of their plots are really really cliche and typical. Plus they're quite long and the actors .. usually aren't that great looking (excuse my superficial-ness xD).

Then I went onto the Japanese drama list because at that time, I was a hugeee anime nerd, otaku .. if you will. I literally begged my parents to drive me to the nearest Barnes and Nobles where I gathered a pile of mangas and and plopped my butt down on a chair and just read the day away. During that time, I know almost every single mange on the shelves and I watched a load of anime too haha. I don't watch any right now. My last one was ... hmm what was it.. see I don't even remember!

Ok going back to the Japanese drama list. During that time, around November 2005, I was searching for dramas to watch and I came across Nobuta wo Produce. I read the plot summary and it sounds really interesting! Two guys trying to produce an unpopular girl.
Then I went on wikipedia.. or something to look up Kamenashi Kazuya, Yamashita Tomohisa, and Horikita Maki. They had to be good looking to motivate me to keep watching. (yeh... so shallow right?!!)

I remember the first time I laid eyes on Kamenashi Kazuya, I remember the picture but I don't have it and I can't find it either. It was a head/face picture of him holding a remote and I think he was winking? Well anyways, I thought whoa he's cute! I really thought he was some broad and tall manly sort of guy too hahah XD. I remember the first picture I saw of Yamapi too. He was donning his Akira haircut and was sitting up on some sort of desk. Horikita Maki is sooo cute! She's my girl crush.

The actors and actress looks promising so I was like , hey! this drama looks fun! So I went ahead and downloaded Nobuta wo Produce and I loved it. Yappari, the theme of friendship is the best. But when I actually saw Kame's whole body, you know how he was so thin at that time? I was like =O, he looks funny... and really scrawny! XD However, the more I watched the drama, the more I like him. He's so adorable! and he's my ichiban idol ^^. I wanted to find out more about him after I finished watching so I went online and went on youtube and started to read articles and watched youtube clips.

So thank you Nobuta wo Produce for opening me up to the Japanese drama world and the Johnnies World.

I came across Kat-tun. I was like.. Kat-tun..? What a funny name.. and the members look really funny too. I thought Ueda and Nakamaru looked sooo strange. hahah xD

But I still like them. It took me a while to decipher what exactly is a Johnny and telling Jin and Junno apart (please don't kill me, I thought they looked the same ! I dunno why though! haha)

For some strange reason I can't explain, I was not attracted to Yamapi haha.

After a few weeks of researching and reading livejournal ( I found out about livejournal the same time I started to watch NwP) I finally understood that JE is a idol machine that churns out boy bands who topped Oricon Charts and dance in rainbow costumes.

I got totally obsessed with kat-tun! Especially since it was really close to their debut and they were doing so many stuff back then, like promotion wise. I watched almost all their youtube clips and even started to download variety shows with them and their music. I started to fangirl about them to my friends who just look at me like I grew an extra atenna or something. Haha. I was on that Real Face high. I followed their schedules.. like really closely xD to the best that I can with my limited Japanese. I also wrote a letter to Jin (which I never mail to him , of course) when he announced his hiatus. I remember how shocked and how sad I was. I was all "omg kat-tun is 6 people! not 5! wth!!" but my friends were great enough to put up with my then sadness and emo-ness. I also remember how happy and elated I was when Jin came back. I called a couple of my friends and was really estatic! like OMG HE"S BACK!

During that time, I was a biggg Akame fangirl , still am now. I read fanfics and started to look at their actions in every show they're in. Gokusen 2 was wonderful. I like to believe they're really great friends even though they don't seem to be close on screen. I still think they are ^^ . I also saved a whole bunch of akame pictures and was really happy when I read evidences and fan reports.

I had no life xDDDD
I love Kame and Jin and Junno and Koki and Ueda and Nakamaru! and naturally I wanted to fangirl about them with people who shared the same interests.
So I started a livejournal with the burning intent to update it regularly and make lots of friends who can fangirl and talk with me. I remember reading up about livejournal and joining a whole bunch of Kat-tun communities. I remember feeble attempts to try to be friends with some people. But I was always intimidated! haha
I was intimidated to talk to fangirls! What if they don't like me.. what if they think I'm a noob. what if I'm too boring.

Basically, it was a whole bunch of what ifs that makes me not want to update my journal.
So I became a lurker. ... yes that's creepy, I agree. I read other people's journals and I would really want to comment and kya along with them but I don't want them to be like "ew who's this creeper".
I really wanted to come out of my shell and just be like "HI! I'm Maxie! I realized we have a lot in common! Can we be friends??" Even now I'm still very insecure and self-concious. I'm not emo.. don't call me that, I don't think no one likes me. I'm just afraid of people not liking me. So sometimes I put on masks or different personalities when I'm around different people. It's just the way things go.. sadly.
It could also be due to the fact that I was really young back then. I was only around 14 or 15 and all those lj fangirls were in their 20s or older. and I would think it would be awfully strange and weird for them to bother with a mere teenager and I wasn't even a late teen, I barely turned into a teen.

So yeh, I was a lurker for around 2 years.

However, I'm trying to change and I'm trying to genuinely make friends who share common interests. and I really hope livejournal will introduce me to a myriad of people and I will definitely be keeping up my own share.
I will update more often, I will comment as well and I will be active.
After all, I really can't expect other people to be friends with me when I don't even bother talking to them or anything.

So please yoroshiku onegaishimasu. This is basically why I want to make a livejournal (that, along with the fact that I want to update about my life so I don't forget about stuff).

Wow...this is a really really long entry and I'm sure no one is reading this XD.

What am I doing right now...
I'm having my midterms next week and I still haven't study yet T_T

but oh my goodness, Kat-tun's new songs!!
I absolutely adore and love "Oh my mind", it's soo beautiful, slightly reminiscent of Korean bands, I think it sounds just a teeny tiny like Shinee.
I also love D-T-S, yes it's on like border line visual kei and I love it, the beat is wonderful.
One Drop of course is great too, kinda sound like an anime theme song haha.

And I still adore Kame! Yehhh, I dunno, I get annoy when people say he's ugly T_T, He's so adorable, Now I know that people have different tastes and we should be open to different opinions, but ... kame..ugly? no wayyy.

Though when I first saw him in Nobuta, I didn't think he was that attractive haha, but the more I look at him, the better he looks, now he's like number 1 in my fandom xD.

I also love ARASHI! OHMIYA Sk yehh and Aiba is a spastic crackhead, he's fun lol.

In real life, I'm anxiously waiting for college letters, April just seems soo far away xD.
I really really want to make it into Upenn and I sent my application, made sure my essays were wonderful and prayed, but I'm consistently thinking about it and am really scare to see the results... T_T

I want to see Kame play a supporting role. He has been the lead for like almost every drama's he in lately, tatta hitotsu no koi, one pound..., kami no shizuku. He's a wonderful actor but I wish he can build up the momentum first. Such as, I wish he can get supportings roles that portray a variety of characters along with a strong cast before he's cast up to the front. Something what Oguri Shun and Ikuta Toma is doing. I would love to see kame in a detective/ mystery/ action drama, such as Unfair or Bloody Monday.

Now I'm listening to One Drop ^^, but I need to study for math so I'm going =D

I feel like doing the wave! ~ \^o^/~
I've been listening to music nonstop for the past few hours and I can say I'm glad I like a variety of music. If I listen to one genre all the time, no doubt I would be bore out of my mind. I can't really handle rock 24/7 or rap 24/7 and slow songs all the time makes me sleepy >.<.

I like Home Made Kazoku, Gyaruru, and Tanaka Roma a lot lately.
There's also a whole bunch of artists I love.

Have you seen their new docomo NTT 2.0 version cm? I'm not exactly sure what they're advertising, but I think it was a cell phone ear piece charm? loll Those earrings are super cute. I want one <33. There was two Chinese guys in the beginning speaking to each other in two languages xD. It was ridiculous right from the start. And all of the sudden the cm show a huge white guy sitting on a barrel praying and Kame came in and the white guy threaten him . LOL. Kame's so pretty.
Jin was being his usual playboy self with a blonde. And he was like "where are you from?" and she was like "I dunno" and the fish talked or something. It was a bloated catfish! (that amused me sooo much)
Ueda danced with a crossdresser~!!! omg that is the crack of all crack in this cm but again almost everything was crack. "Put more back into it!" rofl
Yuichi was cool, sitting on the couch with foreign people and the pretty earring in his ear. Koki was arm-wrestling and he won.

And suddenly, the dog spoke (omg a talking dog!@!@) and it was time for the bar to close, so everyone switched off their ear keitai and the color changes, plus everyone is speaking in their own language again. In the end, kame came out of a room rubbing his crotch area and adjusting his jeans (like omg what happened???) and started walking up the stairs with everyone when the talking dog appeared again (i still can't get over it XD). Kame was like "leave me alone" and turn his earring off and they all walk up the stairs. It was soooo kakkoii withthe snapshots and the stairs. ~~

On a side note: my internet is being retarded and my dad doesn't allow me to go out this week. I hate being stuck home D=. Super boring dayo. But I guess I have more time to practice my nihongo and finish my homework. I've been playing DDR really frequently these last few days. DDR Supernova isn't that fun =/. The backgrounds suck lol. I like extreme better but I want there to be more cute songs.

I honestly wish Kat-tun have more projects to do cause 23 mins a week doesn't satiate me >.< Like I understand aside from photoshoots and cartoon kat-tun, Nakamaru has a drama (well he finished filming, I suppose), and he's hosting shounen club, as well as filming for Youtachi.

Bonjour, Ni Hao, Konnichiwa, Anyo, Hello

This is will be my new intro post. I have this livejournal account for over a year and a half now but I never brought myself to update it or anything. >.<

I don't know how to use any of those fancy special livejournal tricks xD except for lj cut..
I'm really bad at deadlines.. or I procrastinate all the time. I can't really keep up with myspace, facebook, and xanga. Even my poor diary haven't been written on for months. And I have a set of goals this summer I want to do but I didn't even do any...

Time to reflect:
I feel ... I can't really say old but I feel like I need to do something with my life. I'm already 16 and I want to do something more. I want to work in a bookstore, volunteer in a orphanage, write a fanfiction (and actually stick with it), join a dance class, and lose some weight. I have these goals but I never can seem to start any of them.
I have fun rearranging my room. =D I threw all my junk into the middle and I was moving my bed, dresser, bookcase, and desk. I had trouble deciding where to put my bookcase and desk and my sister wanted to help me by drawing out a layout. (yeh It didn't really help lol) and I got rid of the bottom mattress from the two mattresses that makes up my humble bed. =] (no headboards for moi) Now it's super low and I can't literally hop onto it if I don't want to break my back or something.

I finally got my camera and now I can take pictures and have memories of my teenage life. =D I have been wanting a camera for the longest time but I was super surprised when my dad took me out to buy it. I knew it was a birthday gift but he was offering to buy me a $400 camera and I'm like "Are you serious? O_O!" At that moment, I felt spoiled and thought that my parents are way too nice. Honestly.

I hateee online confessions. Especially through aim, myspace, or anything of those instant messaging/ public blogging ones. If a person likes someone, wouldn't it best for them to meet that person in outside of the computer and confess their feelings? That way, it would be more sincere, unlike the cruddy confessions on line. I also have a thing against online relationships. Maybe they work for a few, but most do not work. From my point of view, I think online relationships = a whole mess of cheating and lies. Plus you really can't said I like you without ever seeing that person in real life or ever talking to that person in real life and actually see their reactions and actions.

As for me, if someone ever confess to me, I would like it to be non-internet related, thank you very much.

My Kat-tun obsession is still running strong. =D I wish for a movie/drama that stars all 6... O_O
the pairing would be Akame, Junda, and Nakamaru and Koki can be straight XD.
Don't get me wrong, I would not mind if kame or jin or any other member got a girlfriend, I would still be their fan. Well I would be curious about the girl but I would not be like "BACK OFF HE'S MINES!@!@!@# RAWRR" lol
But I would enjoy it very much if (note if) akame is a real life pairing. It's so beautiful T_T. Maybe one day I'll write a akame fanfic. .. but i dunno, it would feel weird to me to write about real life people lol. I read them of course but writing them is awkward, ... to me xD

Ok.. hopefully there are no weird stalkers here and I can post peacefully ^-^

Now I have to get back to my essay.. about authority and stuff.. . I hate homework ><
